-
Always avoid contact with perfume, body lotions, hair sprays or other chemicals. Lotions and creams may contain acidic ingredients that reach with your pieces. Wait for a few mins after sprays before putting on your jewelry.
-
We recommend remove your jewelry before hot shower and swimming. Chlorine and sea water will react with the metals and cause it to tarnish.
-
Always store your jewelry well in a box or pouch that comes with your piece when not in use.
Silver jewellery
-
Silver is a soft metal, Remember to be gentle when polishing. Over polishing silver will tarnish the metal.
-
Moisture is Silver worst enemy, so keep it stored in a jewelry box/pouch lined with felt. Felt helps to absorb moisture and prevent permature tarnishing. Our jewelry comes in a felt pouch for your storage purposes.
-
Recommended to polish twice a year. Over polishing silver jewelry will cause damage.
Gold vermeil jewellery

As gold is a soft metal, never use a brush when polishing as there could be scratches and the gold plating might be rub off. The more gold plated is used, the more vulnerable the piece is and vice versa.

Gold-filled jewellery

Gold filled jewellery is a thin sheet of gold mechanically bonded to the outside of a core material.

Use only warm water and a mild liquid soap to clean your jewellery. Soak your jewellery pieces for no more than a minute in the water. If you have to scrub, use a soft baby toothbrush and be gentle. Never use toothpaste or baking soda to clean gold-filled jewelry. The chemicals can be too abrasive. Always pat dry your jewellery.
-
Never use tissue or any other paper-based material to clean the pieces. Use a jewellery cloth on your gold-filled pieces to bring back the sparkle that may have washed off with the water. This often happens after gold-filled jewelry comes in contact with water and soap.
